TLC Management Team
Welcome to Tennison Learning Center (TLC) for 2008-2009! TLC is a vital part
of the ministries of Tennison Memorial United Methodist Church in our outreach to families with young children. Our mission at TLC is to provide an opportunity for your pre-school children to learn and play together in a friendly, happy, Christian atmosphere where, through cooperative interaction, they will gain new skills, form good habits, and learn to be responsible members of a group.
Hello! My name is Chuck Huffman, and I am blessed to serve as the new pastor at Tennison UMC. I’m not altogether new to this area – I served from 1999-2003 as pastor of the Saint Andrew and West New Hope churches here in Mt. Pleasant; and my grandparents on my mother’s side lived in Mt. Pleasant and were members of Tennison, while my grandparents on my father’s side lived in Cookville.
It is an honor to be back here in this town that has been such a part of my family history, and to have this great opportunity to give something back to the community and church family! I look forward to meeting you and your precious children, and to helping them grow to be everything God created them to be. |

| Let me assure you that I take our responsibility to you and your family very seriously, and that I will work to insure that our program is the very best. To that end, please feel free to contact me at any time.
You can reach me in the church office at 903-572-5341.
I pray that you and your child have a wonderful experience at TLC this year! |
